Then

  1. Install ImmichFree app, purple and blue circle icon. Nothing to buy.
  2. Enter the server addressTap the copy button above, then paste it where the app asks for a Server URL.
  3. Log inUse the email and temporary password I sent you. You'll be asked to pick a new password — choose one you'll remember.
  4. Turn on backupTap Backup, choose Recents, and switch it on. Leave the app open on wifi for the first run. Large videos are fine.
Your privacy. This is my own private server — only I can see your files. Nothing is removed from your phone; this makes a copy. Hidden and Recently Deleted photos do not come across. When the job is done I delete everything from my server unless you ask me to keep a backup.
